USオルタナ・シーンの重鎮バンド、ピクシーズの11月に開催される来日ツアーを記念して、10月24日(金)に活動初期に〈4AD〉よりリリースされた代表作にして名盤4タイトル『Surfer Rosa』『Doolittle』『Bossanova』『Trompe Le Monde』が、国内仕様盤CDと数量限定の日本語帯付きLPでリリースされることが決定した。当時のファンやアーティストだけでなく、今のアーティストや若者にも色濃く影響を与え続けている伝説のバンドによる来日ツアーは、11月2日(日)に大阪、11月4日(火)と5日(水)に東京で開催される。

Legendary band PIXIES, icons of the US alternative rock scene,
to celebrate their Japan tour this November with the release of four early-era masterpieces on Japanese Obi LP and domestic CD editions

To commemorate the upcoming Japan tour of PIXIES—one of the most influential and iconic bands in the US alternative rock scene—four of their landmark early releases from the 4AD era, Surfer Rosa, Doolittle, Bossanova, and Trompe Le Monde, will be reissued on October 24 (Fri) as domestic CD editions and limited Japanese Obi LPs.

These legendary albums, originally released during the band’s formative years, continue to inspire not only long-time fans and musicians but also today’s artists and younger generations. The highly anticipated Japan tour will take place in November: Osaka on November 2 (Sun), and Tokyo on November 4 (Tue) and 5 (Wed).
